Went to this today, and we were really looking forward to it. Our tickets were $150 each. Our appointed arrival window was from 12-3. We got there at 1:25, had one taste of wine, had two samples of food, and at 1:45 an announcement was made that the event was being shut down due to the wind. I get it - it was windy, and we were in a huge tent with racks of overhead lights that, had they come down, would have caused injury. However, outside the tent was a large open area that appeared to be "safe," but even that was shut down. In the future they should consider doing this one level down in the parking garage where it's more protected and they wouldn't need tents. The event organizer told us we could possibly get a 10-15 percent discount on tickets for tomorrow, lol. Needless to say, I won't be going again.

We participated on Saturday and Sunday and enjoyed both days. If the event organizers make this a Spring AND Fall festival, we'll gladly attend both.

Disappointed Chef Stu was not there (and no, he was not on vacation). We wanted to see him do a demo again this year and he’s the main reason I purchased our tickets (Christmas gift to my wannabe chef husband). We learned so much from Chef Stu last time we went (2018). Anyway, besides that disappointed, it seemed very unorganized. Since this was our third time to go to the event, we thought it would be a breeze to get around. We were wrong!!!! Parking was an issue, the schedule was incorrect, it was a mess. Maybe someone new was in charge this year Hope they work out all the kinks for 2023. Although it may not matter, if the lineup is the same as 2022, we won’t bother going.

I was heartbroken to find out Chef Stu won’t be there year. His recipes are fantastic and unique. He’s so personable and the real deal. I’m shocked. I won’t be there to partake in overpriced food and wine without him. He adds the fine taste in his food. I am now officially unsubscribed.

This was my first time attending and probably the last. To begin with the flier indicated where to park and said there would be shuttles. It took us a half an hour to find the parking lot because not only was there no address the printed map was upside down. We ended up having to walk to the venue in the heat. There were no signs anywhere to tell us where the event was. It took us another 15 to 20 minutes of walking around asking anyone we could find where we were supposed to go. Once you are Let in you find that you are walking around with your hands full and there’s nowhere to sit down and eat. I did not feel like there was very much food there for a food and wine festival. Finally at the end of the festival it Took us a good 20 minutes to have someone find out where the shuttle is. At least we got a ride back to our car. I just did not think it was worth the price.

Would be going to the next one but it’s my understanding Chef Stu won’t be going so, maybe another year.
