I stopped in because I needed my car looked at while I was in the area, Stews is not my normal mechanic.

I came in for what I thought was a bearing noise up front. Stews took it for a drive and told me they definitely heard noises but couldn't pinpoint it because TCS kept them from driving the car on the lift.

After getting back, my normal mechanic immediately confirmed my suspicions that the front right wheel bearing was bad and said the noise in the back was caused by uneven wear on my brakes which they were all able to fix. I asked about the TCS and he said that it's easy to turn off, right in the vehicle menu.

Stews tried to suggest to me that my tires could have been the problem, which was possible. But they said step 1 was to get new tires on the vehicle which sounded convenient. The service advisor also tried to explain to me that I have winter tires in the back of my vehicle, which is absolutely not true, they weren't severe service rated, they are all seasons.

I wouldn't trust these guys; they are a tire shop that doesn't have the ability to do anything but sell tires as far as I can tell. Service advisors aren't knowledgeable at all.

Stews didn't charge me a diagnostic, which is why they earned 3 stars instead of 1 or 2.

Just “ popped” in to see about my tire light keep coming on and putting air in every 8-10 days. They were busy so I said I would come back another time. Right away they said to pull around so they could at least check my tire pressure. Nathan found a nail in the tire I surmised was the defective one. I said ok I would bring it back in the morning, and his co worker ( supervisor) said no need, we can fix it right away. So happy and pleased with this above and beyond service and inexpensive fix to put me at ease and safely back on the road. Thanks Stew’s tire service and thank you, Nathan!

Ask them final price before you doing the service. Got a quote through phone and they charge 20% extra after things get done. ALSO broke my wheel Stud without apologize. Definitely tell all my local friend to avoid this place.

Their tow truck driver was driving sporadically and dangerous on the freeway riding unsafely close to people and at a speed 20 miles above the limit. Also swerving between gaps no tow truck should.

As a car enthusiast why does nearly all my own work…. I was sitting waiting to have tires I procured myself installed. I can tell you this is the most honest tire shop I have ever been to. There is zero upselling going on. Actually quite the opposite. If you are uneducated consumer looking for car work and tires this is the place to go. Eric the owner is patient and accommodating to all customers and his crew is as well these guys are a ten star operation.

Had one shop tell me that no one would mount my 33x12.5 22 on a 22x10 rim took it to stews and they had me in and out in under an hour without appt they mounted and balanced without any issues good fast service. Will be my go to for mounting truck tires

This place has always gone above and beyond! I brought my 4Runner in for a spare tire so they mounted it. I realized later they also synced my aftermarket tpms sensors and rotated my tires for me free of charge. I had asked other shops to sync the tpms sensors and they gave excuses and never even tried; stews tire did it for me and I never even asked. If that’s not the perfect example of a great business I don’t know what is! Thank you!

This place is down right shiesty the worst place to go to in all of berks county. They had replaced 4 tires of mine and 3 out of the 4 tires were old when in my receipt it says (NEW TIRES). I called them back for a refund and they wouldn’t give it to me. My sister had went unknowingly after me and they had upcharged her because she’s a female. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM I WOULDNT GO IF I WERE YOU.
