Been using this place once a week this year and I can say it's an amazing location with great rooms and services. All the people that make this community are respectful and friendly. Vending machines are cleverly stocked with all kinds of goodies. Only down side is that parking can be difficult at times.

This place is massive. I like it because it is pretty clean and it has gated parking and you need a code to enter. Having peace of mind that my vehicle won't get broken into is great. I like that when you are in your room you don't hear any music from another room. Everything is sealed pretty tight. It's an hour away from me but definitely worth the drive for peace of mind and not being interrupted by hearing other people's playing.

I’ve been a long term (over 10+ years) studio renter here at Secret. It’s been consistently the same, only changing slightly over the last year. I’ve noticed things that need maintenance, bathrooms always on that list, but lately, this whole past year, the roof is leaking and the exhaust fans for the facility are inoperable. I’ve inquired about when they might be fixed. I’m told it’s not planned. Disappointed about that. I’m worried about my equipment getting ruined in a big rain event. My rent has not gone down ever.

I've been practicing here for 3 years. Clean, parking lot on premesis. Lot can be full during peak hours, but there is plenty of parking on the street around the corner. The best part: they even have a security guard stationed on the street to watch people's cars that are parked off-premesis. I've never had any issues with management or the clientele, though one time one of the employees of the van rental place next door parked me in for 30 minutes. Everyone is generally respectful. I don't deal with payments (bandmates handle that) so I can't comment on pricing or admin stuff.

I have been using commercial music rehearsal facilities for more than 25 years. Secret Studios is the best I have experienced. The owners do a great job, the tenants are reasonable, and the location cannot be beat. I wish they had more parking, but you can say that about everything in San Francisco.

Secret Studios has been one of the Great reasons to stay in San Francisco. I saw them start to build it in 1992 and it has always been a centerpiece for the music community in San Francisco. The family that runs the studios are great people.

Best practice studio location I've rented so far. Lots of units and lots of good bands use these spaces. There is also a recording studio and performance stage on site. Location is relatively clean and orderly as are the restrooms and garbage is picked up regularly. Vending machines serve chips, ramen, ice cream, batteries and everything in between. There's a sweet "break room" where they usually have sports on the flatscreen tv and some decent seating. Parking is an issue sometimes but they have an overflow parking area with a dedicated security guard nearby. You WILL enjoy.
