Just stopped in to see the latest exhibition at Robischon Gallery, “Applied Matter” and thoroughly enjoyed the artists’ work presented. I’ve never seen a bad show at this gallery over the many years I’ve visited - and my experience with the owners and staff has always been lovely. They are all very knowledgeable and gracious to everyone who walks through their door. Do yourself a favor amd visit this gallery. What a treat!

Highly recommended. I visit this gallery at least once a year, and Robischon always has an interesting variety of contemporary artists on display, often a diverse blend of modern schools. The gallery staff is superb - very approachable and well-informed. My son and daughter have eyes cultivated for modern art, and the staff was very receptive to their many comments and questions about the various works. Truly an exceptional gallery, one of the best in Denver.

To be avoided! We were sadly mistreated here. I have been visiting this gallery over the last 10 years. Last weekend, my friend and I were with my daughter and four of her friends for her 15th birthday and decided to pay the gallery a quick visit before our dinner reservations. Our group had an appreciation of the paintings there, so out came the phones for the obligatory teen selfies. As we were walking around looking at the artwork, a woman came out and told them that they couldn't "jump around" the paintings as if they had been acting like toddlers. My daughter and her friends are cultured young ladies who are in audition-only dance, theater and vocal performance groups, so they were shocked to be confronted in such an accusatory way. Immediately following this, a man came out and lectured them for taking selfies with the paintings rather than letting us know that they have a gallery rule for no photography, which would have been a simple, instantly respected request. Instead, he went into a lengthy stream-of-consciousness rant (think James Joyce trying to be lucid) and stated with great relish that these artists (who let's face it, would actually be thrilled to know that someone had finally ventured into the gallery that day to appreciate their work) had "worked their entire lives to bring this artwork to fruition only to have it defamed by (the girls) treating it as if it were graffiti by taking selfies with it which is disrespectful of their life's work." He then said to them, "How would you feel if some kids were just taking selfies with your art that you worked your whole life on as if it were just some backdrop for a photo...?" He was shifting from beratement to harassment. He wasn't even close to being done playing cat and mouse, so before he could continue, I said, "Well then, we'll be off..." and the girls followed me out. So, to this confrontational man at the gallery, I would like to say that photography is allowed in some galleries and is not in others, therefore I kindly suggest that you indicate this through a sign on the door or a verbal request, but not an after-the-fact lecture aimed at bringing people down to your level of (dare I say, clinical) misery. I should add that I am more than happy writing this to hang on your "gallery wall".

It's not your typical white walled boring art gallery..the building itself is an art piece and there's so many amazing things to look at. The architecture is beautiful and the gallery is spacious and well-organized. Whether you are a fan of abstract art, concept art, expressionism, there is basically something for everyone.

Incredibly unprofessional owner. Was parking in the metered parking lot next to the business. Mr. Robischon approaches my friends and I after we have paid the parking meter. Proceeds to ask for cash and get ugly after we had already paid the kiosk (In denver this is a common scam by people simply throwing on a neon vest and asking for cash in parking lots). I explained to him that we had already payed the kiosk that was in the middle of this parking lot, I also explained how I have been scammed like so from a nearby parking facility. Mr. Robischon proceeds to cuss out my group with ladies present and gets in my face and slaps a glass of water out of my hand. Nonetheless it was a very weird interaction but I felt people should know if this is how he carries himself while trying to run a public parking area on game days. If this is how he treats people with young ladies present I wouldn't give him my business in a million years. I will note that once he realized he was in the wrong, he apologized and we proceeded to move our car out of fear that he would get us towed. Might be a decent business but very low life owner
