This is a short little rustic trail on Bell lake in Dartmouth. Very pretty spot but it is not a maintained trail. There is only street parking and a small chain linked fence leading up next to a house on Bayswater drive so better to go in from Dorthea drive or better yet, by the Abenaki rowing club. Lovely lake that looks nice for a dip or to walk the dog. Some boggy areas in May, will need sneakers or hiking shoes- also a few places along lake where you or your dog could got for a quick dip. Just stay on the old woodland path near the lake as you are down the hill from private fenced in backyards along the way. There are a few fallen trees to step over but it was a nice little 30 min hike along here. My daughter and springer loved it. No hikers on a weekday morning. Peaceful.

Trail is not maintained and hard to follow at times. Very rocky, muddy and lots of tree roots so make sure you have good footing before moving forward! Tried to run through it and had to walk due to the roots and rocks. Pretty view of the lake, nice for a short nature walk.

You can’t really see where the trail is. It’s basically a walk through the woods. Lake is nice though

It has some fun mushrooms but it's gone through a lot over the years and the forest has been dried up lately 🙁
