Best Machine shop around, great service. Ron is a awesome guy excellent communication through each step of your build. I recommend this shop for your hot rod LS/LT Engines or any other engine project for your performance street rod or daily driver.

I took on rebuilding a marine 351w for a local kids camp as their boat broke down. I hadn’t used Lordco machine shop in years, and nothing larger than Honda D16 engines. While there were a few complications with the Mission machine shop due to the camp wanting to make mid progress changes, Craig and the staff at the location handled it professionally & checked off every box on the work they did. The heads were later done at the Maple Ridge location, where the advice & service was over the top. I had the pleasure of working with Laurie who was amazing. She sourced every part needed & brought each item in quickly. This is huge given the current supply chain issues. The boat was fixed right & on the water for summer. I highly recommend Laurie, Craig & the team. I will be using them moving forward!

Quite honestly , this place will rob you blind if you’re not careful. Shop around before you go to no this place. These guys charged me 75$ to turn one rotor! 130$ for the set. Just outrageous and ridiculous. This must be the only way they can stay in business, robbing people blind ! Shop around and you’ll find a better place down the road from them that charges $20! That’s where I took my other two sets and they did a far better job anyway!

They charge $3.90 for waste removal! To remove the small amount of shavings that came off of the rotors ! 6.50 for shop supplies!
To turn two rotors !

Do not do business with these guys! Find people who are fair and do quality work. These guys aren’t it!

Well I certainly can't say I had a particularly good experience with the Machine shop. Lets see where do I even start. How about my motor needing to be rebuilt 3 times in 1000km at MY expense all because Ron would never own up to any of his mistakes, costing me thousands and a motor.

*wrong headgasket installed*
*dropped sleeve* (Ron was like "oh its a grey area I'm not sure if you overheated the motor")
*pistons kissing oil squiters* poor clearancing on piston skirts
*burning an obscene amount of oil because lordco didn't follow Wiseco's honing process*
*Crank machined out of tolerance needing to buy a new crankshaft and start all over*

All these mistakes and Ron won't own up to any of them. I'll never let lordco touch another 1 of my motors. Joke of a machine shop!

Customer service is obviously at the top of their list of priorities. These guys treated me as if I was a long time customer, instead of some guy that just walked in off the street with a bunch of questions. The man at the desk, Dave, and Lordco's top notch reputation are the reason my cylinder heads are going to be perfect, instead of me attempting to reassemble them myself, which was the plan. Thanks guys, you probably saved me alot of effort, frustration and money in the long run.

Zero stars! They did not provide a quote when my cylinder head was in the shop. They told me it needed valves and valve guides, I asked for a quote before they did any work but instead they just went ahead and did the work and are charging me $1300!!! That is criminal in my opinion.
