It's not a bad rehearsal studio, but from the small parking area behind the building, we had to cart our gear down the sidewalk to the corner of Jefferson & Hill St. where the entrance is. Why not put a door in the side of the building where the parking is? I can see the small parking area filling up fast when there are multiple bands rehearsing. We were the only one that afternoon. Maybe 10 parking spots. The well-worn Marshall half stack in the Sand Room had terribly scratchy pots and quit altogether. The manager did provide another amp, Fender Deville.

Hands down the best rehearsal spot in Los Angeles for the price. Parking is on site, clean restroom, cool workers, good PA/music equipment and you can smoke the greens while practicing.

This is a very nice studio for rehearsal, videos, different things. The prices for studio rental time are extremely reasonable, it has excellent access with no steps to have to climb with your equipment, there's several bathrooms and even a kitchenette area. The workers are all very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a ton pf rental equipment of really good quality, and they also sell such necessities as guitar strings, snacks and drinks. They don't have a professional production/recording studio yet..for now it is for rehearsal, but none the ;less, this is a wonderful place! The grand piano and billiard table om the front are just more bonuses nice place.

Been going here for about a year. Always the best top notch gear, super friendly staff, always attentive to what you'll need. Not to mention very affordable. Always clean, and they have a taco stand Wednesdays true Friday's.

Whenever I call they answer. We are a small three piece band and when we book the small room, if the larger room is available or the band canceled, they upgrade our room for free. Great location if band member lives in or on the opposite side of L.A. Been going to this place for years and it's the studio I always compare other studio to. They now have a recording/green screen room for music videos. The best is only getting better and I'm glad to witness it. Only negative is L.A. seems really scary near the freeway but maybe I'm just not used to SoCal lifestyle. Also they have small but free parking, I drive a massive cargo van, but small parking is better then no parking.

If you live in this area and are a musician looking for a place to rehearse, this is it. For me personally, its far, its in a rough part of town (i know because i grew up there) and it has a strong smell of marijuana as soon as you walk in. Regardless of this, the gear is pretty standard but gets the job done and the pricing may be reasonable. Go if you need to.
