So amazed by my experience today at Studio City Sound. It was so easy to set up my session, there was parking for at least one of my actors. The audio engineer assigned to my session was Wyatt, and he was AWESOME! So helpful and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond, and facilitated a fun, creative environment. I felt like such a professional. I had my audio files emailed within the hour after my session. The rate is insanely reasonable. I will have to write more scripts that will be animated more often!

I have used Studio City Sound for a variety of activities since 2017, including instrument tracking, mixing, mastering, and even a livestream event for an album release. They have a multi-purpose facility with numerous studio rooms and helpful staff, as well as extensive recording gear options, including both modern software and vintage hardware.

The studio is a great fit for me because I am on a budget and typically work in shorter duration session increments (4 hours) which they accommodate - unlike many other L.A. studios which require you to book an entire day or more.

I am currently recording a spatial audio-based album, and they have a great Dolby Atmos-based studio.

Finally, you could say they treat you like family – and that might be related to the fact that … it is an extended family business.
