We were visiting the lakes on holiday and visited Bowness where we found The Lakes Gallery. We like to take some art back home when we visit places and this gallery was a brilliant find. The photos were just breath taking, it was hard to choose. The lady that served us was so helpful and friendly, we didn’t get her name unfortunately but nothing was too much trouble. They will even frame them for you the same day. We ended up with 3 but could easily have had more. Highly recommended.

A little hidden gem in Bowness. A variety of photographs illustrating the vast landscapes of the Lakes at competitive prices. The owner/staff were ever so helpful and approachable. Would recommend for your Lakes Itenary.

Love this new gallery in Bowness, bought two pictures straight away and then had one blown up to over 2m in width for our dining room wall. It looks fab. The view is a lovely memory for us of Lake Windermere that we can now see every day! The service was great, really friendly people. Highly recommended.

We purchased a picture from the gallery last year, we enjoy our purchase every day. We were looked after in the gallery and were shown various pictures based on what we liked but there was no pressure to buy. We will definitely return next time we are in Bowness

While holidaying from Australia we fell in love with a beautiful photograph depicting the local scenery. The gallery seamlessly arranged overseas postage and not long after our return to Australia we received our photograph in excellent condition which is a lovely momento of our holiday.

We popped into The Lakes Gallery after we saw the photographs in the window were fantastic. After much deliberation due to the scale of work on offer, we ended up buying 4, down to the offer the gallery had on at the time. The work of the Photographer Matt is absolutely brilliant, and we were helped by the Lady who was working at the time understanding Matt’s work. I couldn’t recommend this Gallery more and work by the Photographer enough. Utterly stunning work, will definitely be back in the future and will be recommending his work to family and friends. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the work also as well as offering the option of framing at a reasonable additional cost.

The Lakes Gallery was a fantastic find and would highly recommend a visit. It's stocked full of spectacular photography, that was available in different sizes and frame options at a very reasonable price. The lovely gentleman who looked after us, was actually the photographer of a lot of the art on display. We bought one of his, so it was an extra special experience to find out more about the piece and how he took the shot. I now wish we had bought a few more!

From the moment we walked into the studio we were blown away by the choice of prints of all shapes & sizes. From landscapes to close-ups, well known landmarks to never seen remote corners of the Lakes. It took us a serious amount of time making our selection, with lots of help and advice from Clare. After ordering there was great communication from the gallery re the status of our order. Upon delivery we were super impressed with the quality of the mountings & frames. The photgrapher followed up with a call to ensure we were happy. Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommended.
