Had a nice stay here for one night. Rooms are clean and the fire place was nice to have on a chilly February evening. They put on an amazing breakfast.

We usually book here once a year. Always nice place to stay with friendly staff. I only give a deduction because the bed was a little stiff for me and there was some misinformation on which doors we could get back into the building through after 10. We were told the front door only. And not the back door at all after 10. Which it was the side doors and back door have card swipe to get in and not the front one. Not a big deal unless it is minus 30 and you are walking around the building trying to find away in like we were after parking at the front.

stay started off coming into our room and seeing rotten food in the fridge, when we called down the room service was helpful but not the nicest considering they should’ve cleaned out the fridge in the first place. The towels we had were brown and we couldn’t get more without a charge. You have to take your own garbage out or else it’s and $18 fee, the garbage they provide is also very small. When we left the clean service sign on our door and got back about 2 hours later they did not come and did nothing. When getting the breakfast although there was some good options the milk we had our first morning was rotten and they had claimed that it was bought yesterday. The beds are a bit stiff although they were clean. The rooms at night time get freezing cold if your don’t turn on your fireplace, there is no thermostat to put your room to a set temperature.

This is our 2nd time staying here. The first time wasn't nearly as bad as the second. The first stay there was a continental breakfast which offered hot food, this stay however there was no hot food. The rooms and hallways were hot, there is a small window ac unit that needs to be run 24/7 to keep your room bearable. They do not clean the rooms everyday, you need to request for your room to be cleaned. If you do not do your dishes there is an extra charge of $20.00 for them to do it. You get 2 towels which are replaced every 2 days as well. Carpets are stained and have a musty smell. However with everything said the staff are polite and seem to have a good atmosphere. But for the price you pay, a stay at Ramada for the extra couple bucks would be worth it. You also need to pay $18.00 to have your room cleaned during your stay as per their new policy.

Hello boys and girls, let's start with the good points: fireplace in the room, close to worksite, did have wifi, cable as well, hard beds made my sleep really enjoyable! Now let's delve into the bad points: wifi was down at about 6 am..ish and when you let them know, it wasn't a priority...waited half hour for them to do a 2 minute reset of the router, apparently if they have wash and/or put away your dishes it's a extra $20.00 charge, if you need room service it's then an $18.00 extra charge, we had dirty towels and I had to take out my own garbage...their breakfast had no working juice machine and nothing else to drink, not even coffee on ...For breakfast!...if I could give service a -15 star I would.....worst service I have ever had...nickel and diming your guests!

I stayed here with a friend, and it was about +33 degrees Celsius. They said there was AC but all it was was a small one that brought in more hot air than cold. The beds were super hard and my back hurt for a day after we left, and now I have bites on my skin, most likely from bed bugs, apart from that the service was good, and was actually a really nice stay, I would say a 4 star apart from everything else.

We will not be staying here again. We booked this hotel since my daughter-in-law was in the barrel racing finals but was not impressed. She tried to use the pool but is down for repairs even though the pictures show a functional pool when we booked it.

The AC units do not work very well and the rooms were warm , the staff do not do any kind of turn service or change towels even if asked. I was told there is extra charges for this if you wanted the room cleaned or the beds made. The front clerk said they would deliver fresh towels on day 2 of the stay which did not happen.

The free contential breakfast is cold food only not the hot food that is avertised and shown in their pictures. There were no eggs, hashbrowns, sausages, bacon, waffles etc. Only cereal, toast and other cold food.

I will spend the extra 20.00 per night and stay at the Ramada the next time I or any of my family stays in Panoka. I tried to switch hotels after the first night in this one but the others had no vacancy.

Edit to add my reponse to their response.

We did talk to the front desk about the turn down service and towels but nothing was done. I was told the room clean and bed make up service could be done but for an extra charge. They did say they would bring fresh towels which never came.

I did not receive any confirmation email from them, was just given a confirmation number over the phone and I don't see anything about the pool being closed on Expedia or their website. The front desk clerk told me that the hot food was not being served at this time and it was cold food and basic contential breakfast only

The woman that owns this place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! She helped us and I can’t thank her enough. So caring and generous. Super happy we stayed there. Definitely will be back. Soon I hope. Rooms are large and spacious. The kitchenette was so nice to have, loved the gas fireplace. Location is absolutely perfect. In the middle of
Everything in town. Super easy to find. The beds are a little hard for my liking but I’d still stay again and again. Thank you so much ♥️

We were a bit nervous about booking, as the furnishing looked dated compared to hotels we’ve stayed at. What we found was an extremely clean and well maintained motel with excellent service.
The fireplace in the room was so cozy after a long day at the rink. The rooms were spacious, and quiet.
Breakfast and coffee/tea bar in the lobby had many options and was well stocked.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Wish I had checked reviews before reserving. Disgusting, dirty, scary place.|Dirty gross carpets, awful little hard beds, tiny garb cans and they don’t clean rooms unless you pay an extra charge of $18 daily. So your family has to reuse your towels, tiny garbage can full of stinky garbage . I called front desk and the customer service rep was the most awful rude yelling rep ever. Tried to calm her down and she just yelled. We only wanted towels and garbage pick up if no room clean up. I’m reporting her to owners so they are aware. ||The ice machine broken - had to go to store. When reserving there was pic of nice pool - front desk guy said it’s down for maint. But rude customer service rep said pool closed cuz of Covid (ha ha - 5 years ago) she said no one opened pools again. Wow. ||The signs all say breakie 6:00-9:30 but we arrived 6:15 and no food. Girl says it starts at 6:30 signs are wrong. We needed to eat yo get to hockey tournament. So awful. When it arrived, hardly any choices and not very appealing. CHANGE THE SIGNS - even check in guy Friday nite said breakie starts at 6:00!||Booked a conf room for our hockey team to visit - gave us the breakfast buffet room… ||There’s so much more awful believe or not but you get the point. DONT BOOK HERE! ||To top it off we had a group of ppl next room that were asking ppl that banged on their door - “what kind of drugs you want - we got it call.”

What an overpriced dive. The room cleaning policies are a joke. Never heard of a charge to clean your room in any hotel ever. Manager has a “we can do no wrong” attitude. Never again. Wish I could give it zero stars.
